Mrs Shears comes out of her house and see Christopher and her dead dog. She screames at Christopher and he put his hands over his ears and lay on the grass.
Christopher seems to be more weird in very chapter. He is scared when people scream at him and he didn´t know what to say in the moments. For me he is a lone wolf who didn´t speak much with different people.
Maybe Mrs Shears think Christopher killed her dog and because of that he screamed at him. But why Christopher didn´t say that he wasn´t that and lay down on the grass?
